We are having a hell of a storm today, wind and sandstorm, intermittent rain and over all greyness, really makes you feel like staying inside.

Thanksgiving
First I just want to say Happy Thanksgiving to everybody! I had a pretty good day here myself. I spent thanksgiving the way i think you are supposed to when away from home, with a few of the people you like to hang out with. I made a friend fellow HMC over at the MARSOF compound and we kinda put together our own thanksgiving food was good and company was good. I will get some pictures and post them. I was able to talk to Sheila and the Girls and that always makes any day instantly brighter, so that was good. Hope everybody is doing well.

Sue and me and the boys went to my dad's family in Holden. Always good to see everyone and all the kids. In fact there were 6 kids under 6, and a bunch of older ones to take care of the little ones. Nice to finally be able to sit down while they were off with thei peers.

Had a great Thanksgiving with Grandma. We went to the hotel Thanksgiving Buffet. Then to the movie called Australia. She said she had a great time. So glad I could do that for her. I'm glad Sheila & the girls could go over to Brian & Nicoles for the holiday. Happy that you had a good Thanksgiving over there. Sheila told me you were able to do some cooking yourself. That alone would make you happier. Do you have any snow yet? A second box from L.L. Bean is on it's way, so look for it. Love Mom
Hi Kev, glad you had a decent day. I'm sure all of the food was great since you were doing some of the cooking. Can't wait till you come home for your break so you can cook, I know you are missing it, as are we!! We love you!
